Our Story

Our practice began in 1993 as Williams & Associates, built on a foundation of thoughtful, client-focused design. In the years that followed, the firm grew through collaboration, craftsmanship, and strong relationships with clients and community. Jason joined the team in 1995 and Mindy soon after, both contributing to the firm’s continued growth and direction.

In 2013, Jason and Mindy became partners with founders Steve and Linda Williams, helping to guide the transition into a new era. A decade later, the firm evolved into 3Peak Architecture, the same trusted practice shaped by a team of dedicated architects, designers, and support staff who share a common purpose: creating spaces that are intentional, enduring, and connected to place.

Our home in Spearfish, South Dakota, is surrounded by three mountain peaks: Crow Peak, Spearfish Mountain, and Lookout Mountain. These landmarks inspired our name and reflect both our faith and the three values that guide everything we do: Integrity, Quality, and Adventure.
