3PEAK facilitated Black Hills Surgical Hospitals expansion into urgent care clinics with the design of their Rapid City clinics on Mountain View Road and Haines Avenue as well as their Spearfish facility. The Spearfish clinic was a rezone / redevelopment project adjacent to a residential neighborhood located at the busy intersection of Main Street, North Avenue and Michigan Avenue. The new, 2-story facility was required by the city to have a pitched roof, subdued exterior finishes and controlled lighting due to the proximity to the residential neighborhood. The 1st floor clinic includes exam rooms, an X-ray suite, a procedure room, a drug testing area, a lab and additional support spaces. The 2nd floor was originally set up for additional clinic space.
