This vacation home in a remote location of the Black Hills is surrounded by rugged topography and awe inspiring views. 3Peak provided multiple design options after evaluating the site and listening to the owners dreams for this 2nd home. The prominent, opposing single pitched roofs open up the inside of the house to exterior views and visiting guests alike. Real wood siding and local stone along with heavy timber beams are the featured exterior materials. Hidden design gems include an outdoor patio with hidden screens, an open timber stair and a small sitting loft accessible via a staircase built into a bookcase.
