This redevelopment project on Main Street in Spearfish revitalized two former residential lots that had fallen into disrepair due to difficult access and steep grading. We worked closely with the owner and the City of Spearfish through redevelopment guidelines and the vacating of portions of the right-of-way to provide enough space to allow a 3-story mixed-use building and appropriate parking.

The building functionality was designed to accommodate a number of potential uses including a restaurant, retail, office space and a coffee shop / bakery. The interior spaces are supported by outdoor seating, display spaces and upper level exterior balconies that take advantage of the surrounding views.
